Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, providing exceptional administrative support, and delivering excellent patient service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain electronic health records using systems Athena One
- Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Assist with medical administrative tasks as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of medical terminology and Athena One.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with patient service principles in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
